The Friday Question
Ah, Friday at last! We had a quieter week in the brewery this week after the insanity of last week with only two brews, a blonde and the Golden Glory. Don’t think that we were sunning ourselves on the patio sipping cocktails though! We processed an amber, 2 batches of Ironman, a blonde, a summer ale, a red, a cream ale and tomorrow I’ll be transferring a 3 Lions of which I’ll be filling a couple of firkins to age on oak. The Golden Glory is fermenting nicely, dropping from a starting gravity of 1.055 to 1.037 overnight. We’ll probably fill a firkin for future rotation on the brewer’s choice handpull, keep an eye on the brewery posts for details of what’s the current “brewer’s choice”. Another firkin that’ll be coming up soon is the Bishop’s Breakfast with cacao nibs.
So, on to the Friday question. Following last weeks football (o.k., soccer to you) question I thought I’d combine two of my favorite things for this weeks, footie and beer, so the question is this …. in the controlled chaos that was last Thursday and Fridays celebration of the Chelsea/Milan game, how many pints of Chelsea Best did we sell over the course of those two days. As usual please post your answers via the comment option below and the first reply to get closest to the answer wins “something”.
Cheers
Steve
