firkin fun
It seems that the recent addition of the third beer engine at Max’s is pushing along cask sales nicely. We’ve recently had 3 of our ales on rotation there and other local cask offerings have included Clipper City and White Marsh Brewing Co. We’re sending out 3 more firkins to Max’s today, Old Habit Brown Ale, E.S.B. and a double hopped Blonde so look out for them on the beer engine in the near future. Along with regular cask offerings at Metropolitan and Frisco Grille and of course our own Pratt Street Ale House it seems that the discerning cask ale fan is spoilt for choice these days, as it should be! Also don’t forget we have a very special cask event at the Ale House on the evening of Wednesday 12th August when we will be tapping a kilderkin (that’s twice the size of a firkin) of Oak Aged 3 Lions. There’ll be beer specials and giveaways throughout the evening!
