the friday question
Last week’s answer was of course that Oxford Brewery brewed its last batch on Wednesday 30th December 1998. There’s an excellent history of the brewery at http://thomas.cizauskas.net/articles/oxford.html. Now although Trevor, in his rush to post the answer, forgot to give the day and Brandon followed up on his mistake with the complete answer I think it would be harsh to penalize Trevor for this small oversight (it was after all the quickest response I’ve ever had to the Friday Question!) So, in a fit of uncommon generosity, I am going to award prizes to both Trevor and Brandon …. I know, I know …. where will the madness end?
On to this weeks question. Next September I intend to be sitting in the snug of my local In Coventry, supping a pint of Mild. Where will I be … a) The Golden Cross b) The Chelsea Potter c) The Bat & Ball d) The Nursery Tavern or e)The Square Albert.

Yikes, good question. Ok, so maybe it’s not The Nursery Tavern!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not commenting upon the validity of your answer, just the outfit … believe me, this is a pub frequented by Morris Dancers so she would fit right in!
