Happy Guy Fawkes Day everybody!
Ah, if I was in dear old Blighty I would have spent my evening huddled around a bonfire watching an effigy of Guy Fawkes burn and be eating baked potatoes before nipping of to the pub for a couple of pints. Instead I’m in our subterranean wonderland brewing beer! It’s another busy week with 5 brews to do, the 4 from last week to move to conditioning and a further 5 to carbonate and keg. That’s a lot of pints of beer …. about 23 520 or there abouts … sort of makes you thirsty, eh? Still, tomorrow is my sons birthday so I get to take the afternoon off and trade the brewery for Chuck E. Cheese (coz that’s the way we roll). Don’t forget though that at 1.30 William’s Winter Warmer will make it’s debut on tap. This year I’ve upped the a.b.v. to 8% to celebrate Will’s 8th birthday and the taste that I had from the conditioning tank was very promising, so tomorrow promises to be a wonderful day in all sorts of ways!
Cheers
Steve

Please to remember
The Fifth of November,
Gunpowder, treason and plot!
We see no good reason
Why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot!
Takes me back to my school days!
