Winter wonderland

Well I’m officially sick of answering the phone now. Yes, we’re closed, go figure. Unfortunately for me the fermentations carry on regardless of the weather outside so someone has to come in and check them …. that’ll be me then! It was a cold walk from Fells Point but I have to say, the city looks beautiful under a blanket of snow. Wish I had a sled and team of dogs though, that would’ve been fun!

the long walk along Pratt Street

Ah, sanctuary!

Stay safe and warm out there this weekend.

Wow, great shots. Can’t imagine how insane that walk was though…

So do we chalk this under dedication, worries about the job, you were the closest one to the place, or you’re just certifiable?

Well like I said, fermentation doesn’t care about the weather, someone has to check the gravity, who else is it going to be? …. I’ll tell you sometime about the first Christmas day that I arranged to get my assistant to check the brews so I wouldn’t have to make the 80 mile round trip to the Phantom & Firkin to do it myself!!!

Or the other option: If you were stuck in the house, the significant other would have pulled out her “honeydew” list of things to do around the flat? “Honeydew this, Honeydew that….”
