Burial At Sea 3.2% A reworked version of our collaboration with DC Brau, a ruby mild, light bodied and easy drinking, a real thirst quencher and only $4/pint during our Mild May celebration.
Modern Life Is Rubbish 5.9% A nod to Blur’s quintessential album and a classic beer style, the Victorian Porter, medium bodied with a balanced hop presence and lush roast notes on the nose & palate.
20 Brewed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first Oliver’s brew day way back in January 1993. This is a 9.6% dark ale, a complex malt base with hints of dark fruits balances the generous use of Falconer’s Flight, CTZ & Topaz for bittering (72 IBU)
Strongman Pale Ale I’m not promising that this 8% pale ale will help you perform amazing feats of strength but hey, you never know. Bittered, finished and dry hopped with the Japanese bred hop Sorachi Ace for hints of dill, lemon and even a little coconut.
Cherry Blossom Ale 5.8% A wheat ale fermented with 220lbs of pureed dark sweet cherries per 7bbl batch. The cherries impart a beautiful red color and a mild cherry flavor.
BW Rye #5 3.2% The latest in our series of rye-centric collaborations with our good friends at 3 Stars Brewing. This time we brewed a rye mild ale to add to our Mild May celebrations. Light in body, easy drinking and full of flavor, with a lingering rye “spiciness”. Only $4/pint during Mild May.
Meridian #6 4.2%The latest in aseries of collaborations with D.C.’s finest watering hole, Meridian Pint. This is a session coffee stout served as a nitro pour. A pleasing coffee aroma and mild roastiness make this a perfect accompaniment to that morning bagel!
Hot Monkey Love 10% Love the Monkey and the Monkey will love you right back! Big, bold and assertive but oh so smooth, brewed with 120lbs of clover honey in a single 7bbl batch, this English style strong ale has a beautiful red hue and disguises it’s high alcohol content in a complex malt finish with a balanced bitterness. Let it warm a little in the glass and the Monkey will truly express itself!
The Big D 8% An IPA bittered with Centennial and finished & dry hopped with lashings of whole leaf Citra. We also use some orange blossom honey, bitter & sweet orange peels and lemon peel in the brew kettle. Beware though, this brew hides it’s 8% abv well.
